Vanessa is a professional pet stylist with 12 years of experience. She is the Manager at Nala’s Grooming and spent nearly two years as an instructor, sharing her knowledge and passion with future groomers.

What inspired her to become a groomer was the art of grooming and the friendships she builds with pets. Vanessa has a special gift for connecting with misunderstood dogs, which led her to turn her love for animals into a lifelong career. She specializes in Doodles, Poodles, and all other breeds, you name it, she’s worked with it. Her expertise spans across every coat type and personality.

Vanessa also loves volunteering at rescues and helping dogs find their forever homes. One of her favorite parts of grooming is witnessing the transformation and building long-lasting friendships with each pup. She always looks forward to seeing them return.

For Vanessa, creating a calm and steady environment is essential, especially for anxious or nervous dogs. Approaching these pups can be scary at first, but she finds it incredibly rewarding. Earning a dog’s trust is her most important goal.

Her favorite time at the grooming table is cuddle time — giving kisses, soft pets, and watching each dog show their unique personality.

At home, Vanessa has two Huskies, Skye and Turbo. One of her most unforgettable moments on the job was when a dog peed on her from pure excitement — a memory she will truly never forget!

Her coworkers describe her as a powerful leader, a ray of sunshine, bubbly, and someone who radiates positivity.

When she’s not at the salon, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family, who mean everything to her. She strives every day to make a positive impact on her children’s lives.

Her greatest personal accomplishment is learning to understand dogs for who they truly are — not who we want them to be. Vanessa’s long-term goal is to compete one day and earn her Master Groomer certification through IPG.

Desiree Known as Des is a certified pet stylist for over 8 years. Desiree was once a Groomer instructor, She has taught for 3-4 years. She always felt more at ease workin with animals-their honestly, loyalty, and energy inspired her to turn that connection into a career. Desiree has a lot of experience in all coat types an specializes in poodles/doodles and double coated breeds. Desiree has volunteered in a shelter where she has done feeding, cleaning, vaccinations, deworming and cared for animals. Desiree has also volunteered at is Retrievers and Friends rescue.What she loves the most about grooming is seeing their transformation and how their confidence shines as they prance around after a groom. The way she helps anxious dogs is by creating a clam, confident environment, Her approach is gentle but assertive. She stays clam centered use steady, and takes her time to build trust. Her favorite part of the grooming process is to ensure a good prep work is done correctly and watching the transformation. Desiree has lots of fur friends, she says “They are my broke best friends that live rent free!.” Desirees most memorable story is when she learned how important it was for her to tie her hair up. Her hair had gotten shut on a Dremel when doing nails,Yikes! The way we see Desiree is how a good leader she is, funny and patient . Her favorite thing to do is some DIY projects at home and baking. Her proudest moment is when she was able to complete a full hand 

scissored haircut by herself . She has had the opportunity to learn from many respected groomers, including Saul Romero and Cat Opson.” Desiree's one advice to give to pet owner are to start grooming your dogs/puppies young, its never too late to start. Julia’s love for animals is what first inspired her to become a groomer. A certified graduate of the American Grooming Academy, with now 3 years of experiance,she specializes in deshedding and loves creating adorable teddy bear heads. Known by her coworkers as friendly, patient, and hardworking, Julia takes special care to help anxious or first-time pups feel calm through her steady and gentle approach. When she’s not at Nala’s Grooming, you’ll find her spending time with her fiancé, friends, and her two cats, Chip and Ninon. Her best tip for pet parents? Brush, brush, brush! 

 Zuly is a certified pet stylist from American grooming academy she now has 3 years of experience and growing. She aspired to become a pet stylist because she wanted a trade that she could always turn to besides her aspiring to achieve her doctorate degree. Zuly is always willing to give every dog a chance- even the anxious and aggressive ones. Zuly is familiar with all breeds and coat types. She has a background in veterinary studies and is currently taking college courses in biology to continue expanding her knowledge of animal care. When she not working she likes to party and hangout with friends. Her biggest achievement was being able to groom an aggressive dog from start to finish.     Sydney is a certified pet stylist who graduated from Ambers Grooming Academy. She’s been grooming for 2 years. Sydney is our full-time Mobile Van Groomer. What inspired her to be a groomer is the love she has always had for dogs. She used that love and turned it into a career. Sydney specializes in Schnauzer breed cuts. She’s very well experienced with double coated dogs. Prior to becoming a groomer Sydney was a bather for a Grooming salon. Sydneys way of helping anxious dog is to talk and give lots of love during the grooming process. After a groom Sydneys favorite part is seeing how happy the dogs are and how much confidents they have, its like a reward for her. Sydney has a dog of her own named Mr.Weenie, he is a 2 year Dachshund. The way we would describe Sydney is a caring, reliable and committed person. On her days off she very much loves to hangout with her boyfriend and they both love Snowboarding when winter Is around. Sydneys biggest achievement as a groomer was to Learn certain breed cuts.   Thalia is a certified pet stylist who graduated from American grooming academy. She now has 3 years of experience and growing. What inspired her to become a groomer was her desire to work one on one with animals. Thalia specializes in breed- standard cuts, hand scissoring, and deshedding. Thalia loves working mostly on Standard poodles, Wheaton Terriers, Schnauzers, Huskies, Pomeranians, and Doodles. Thalia creates a positive environment for the pets she is working on. Her co workers would describe her as soft, patient, and devoted. On her off days she loves to work on her art. One advice Thalia would like to give is socialize your dogs.
